The Centre for Industrial Heritage has participated in several projects so far. In collaboration with tourist boards and local governments, it has been carrying out projects of digitalization of cultural and industrial heritage, with a strong orientation on tourism. With the help of external experts, the Centre developed its own application for digitalisation and presentation of cultural heritage of a place/town/county, which aims to bring together different types of heritage. The application has a user-friendly interface, several search modes and it is fully customised to the needs of a wide audience.
The Centre for Industrial Heritage carries out activities in project “Tourism Valorisation of the Representative Monuments of Rijeka’s Industrial Heritage”, as part of “Science and Education”.
